What are dental implants

Preventing Bone Loss

Ridge Preservation

When teeth are removed, there may be very little bone left to regenerate the area.  When a bone graft is performed at the time of extraction, the area can be preserved, or even enhanced for ideal dental implant placement.

Another way of preserving the bone after extractions is through using a Cytoplast Membrane. This method does not involve any cutting of the gums, and no flaps (gum movement to cover the hole). A special membrane is used to cover the hole and allow the gums to grow under it. This makes the procedure less traumatic.
